Demonic Anointing

John 10:10 – The theefe (thief) cometh not but for to steale (steal), and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

           – KJV 1611 Bible

Are you associated with a person operating under demonic anointing?  Let’s take a look at four sure signs that you may be:

1.  Crabs-in-a-bucket mentality.  This is a very well-known act; however, most people do not realize that it is diabolical.  Instead of holding out a hand to help you up the ladder, this person makes it a habit of stepping all over you to get to the top, while vehemently pushing you further down in the process.

This “ladder,” so to speak, is not only representative of the work environment as we all commonly know it.  It also purports other aspects of your life, such as; marriage, fashion sense, beauty, friendships, your hair length, your weight, and other petty nonsense that Satan deems important to try and compete with.  God has your back though.  And He will not allow your enemies to overthrow you.

“But thus saith the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee (you), and I will save your children.”
 – Isaiah 49:25

2.  The Hinderer.  If the enemy cannot stop you, he will do everything in his power to try and cause delay and setback in your life.  His first attempt is usually to try and act like a helpless victim, working on your emotions so you may tend to him instead of your daily responsibilities.  This is emotional witchcraft.  (Use Godly discernment, though, because not everyone is pretending to be a helpless victim).

If emotional witchcraft does not work, the enemy will go so far as to use spiritual witchcraft against you in order for you to comply.  Rest assured though, “A curse causeless shall not come.”  This means that if you are a true child of God, following Jesus Christ The Messiah, and you are in line with the Holy Scriptures, then, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment, thou shall condemn.”   – Isaiah 54:17

3.  The Busybody.  This individual is so full of strife it’s not even funny.  Busybodies will have you tangled up in so much drama, that you would think you got your own self into it!  They participate in backbiting, gossiping, and backstabbing.  These are the same people who will say one thing to you about a person, but then, go behind your back and speak a totally different tune to that same person.  You know why?  Because their sole goal is to make you look bad, while they make themselves look good.  Avoid this person like the plague.

4.  The Deceptive Advisor.  This person will purposely steer you in all the wrong directions.  He/she never wants the best for you, only the worst.  For example, if you are wearing a nice outfit, this person will tell you it looks bad.  This is his/her way of attempting to make you feel insecure.  If your breath stinks, this person will tell you it smells good (Just being real here!).  This is because, the deceptive advisor wants you to go around others with bad breath, and cause you humiliation.

A good friend (spouse, relative, or platonic) speaks the truth in love.  Unfortunately, most people do not want to hear the truth whether it is spoken in love or hate.  They become highly offended either way.  Some people will take offense to those who give them gentle truth, while embracing those who harshly admonish them, or who even speak flat out lies to them.  A true friend is very hard to come by these days.  However,  if you do encounter one, you should cherish that person and reciprocate their loyalty.

True friends will not support you in your wrong, but will gently point it out to you.  A true friend will not tell you that your outfit looks good, when in fact, it looks bad, and vice versa.  A true friend, who has been with you when you were able to do something for him/her, will be in that same spot when you are not able to do anything at all for him/her.  They hold no grudges.  They are not vindictive, and they carry no bitterness toward you just because the two of you may disagree on a particular matter.

So, if you have one, some, or all four of these types of people in your life, be aware that they are operating under a demonic anointing.  Their sole purpose in life is to rob you of your joy; wear you out mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually; and demolish your self esteem.

People operating under a demonic anointing will not hesitate to humiliate you among friends, family, and strangers.  And beware, because they will turn on you in a blink of an eye. So, do yourself a favor, get away now!  You can always pray for them from a distance.
